| Removing the Stock Intake Track: 1. Remove the strut tower brace (if your car has one) 2. Disconnect the wiring harness at the IAT and at the "Y" junction. There should be a section of the harness attached to the stock airbox. 3. Remove the rubber "S" intake elbow 4. Unclip and remove the rear most section of the stock airbox 5. Remove the front section of the stock airbox (the part that holds the airfilter) |

| 6. Pull the plastic cover off of the MAF. 7. Disconnect the MAF wiring harness from the MAF. 8. Work the rubber grommet through the plastic mounting plate towards the MAF and fish the wiring harness out through the hole. Note: the wires only go out one way. The MAF wire connector is too large to fit through the hole, so the IAT and the 'Y' connector need to be worked through the hole in the direction of the MAF. Once the wires are removed, set them aside. 9. If you are reusing the stock MAF, then use a 10mm socket or wrench, and remove the 4 mounting bolts. 10. Unscrew the IAT from the rubber "S" and put it someplace safe. 11. Remove the 1/2" elbow that connects the hose from the oil filler neck to the rubber intake track and store it with the IAT. |

| The only pieces that will be reused are the MAF, the wiring harness, the 1/2" 90 degree breather elbow, and the IAT. In other words, you can get rid of the stock "S" intake and the stock intake box once you remove the goodies from them. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
