Prophet Muhammad ( Sal)
In Holy Qur-aan, Allah says,
" And We have sent you ( O ! Muhammad ) not but as a mercy to the Alameen ( = Universe) " - Al Anbiyah - 107.
He also says,
" Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger ( Muhammad (Sal) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that he should receive any injury or difficulty. He ( Muhammad (Sal) is anxious over you ; full of pity, kind and merciful. " - At - Tauba: 129.
He also says,
" Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a Warner. And there never was a nation but a Warner had passed among them. " - Al Fatir: 24
No tongue can tell completely about this Great Man Muhammad (Sal) , who can't be compared to any other human of the history. Even our heart is not enough to occupy the joyful of remembrance of this Great Prophet. Nor even to have space to write about him totally.
|
O! You God, You are the One Can praise him in all and one Make this tongue with little brain To begin to praise once again
|
Only with a countless Mercy of Allah, we were bestowed this Great Man as our Prophet. We are the people ( Ummah) of this noble Prophet. Even all previous Prophet were longing very much to be one of the people this Holy Prophet. But we are the only people who were gifted with this great prize, incomparable to any thing. Our whole period of the life is even not enough to be thankful to Allah for this gift alone.
The Arabic word Muhammad - PpLÝ -- means praiseworthy. The 'just' name! It is worthy to praise him. And naturally he is praised at every time. The seconds hand of the clock will not move without mentioning his name in any one part of the world. Yes! the name of our Prophet is praised with the proclaim of Adhaan (= call for prayer from Mosques) all over the world round the clock.
We can say that there is no previous religious scriptures, which is not mentioning about the coming of Prophet Muhammad (Sal). He is prophesied almost in all of them. In Holy Qur-aan, Allah says,
" Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write ( i.e. Muhammad (Sal) whom they find written with them in the Tawraath (Torah) and the (Ingeel) Gospel.." - Al A'raaf:157.
Holy Qur-aan also clearly says,
الذين آتيناهم الكتاب يعرفونه كما يعرفون أبناءهم وإن فريقا منهم ليكتمون الحق وهم يعلمون
" Those to whom We gave the scriptures ( Jews and Christians) recognize him ( i.e. Muhammad (Sal) as they recognize their sons..." - Al Baqaraa : 146.
Please look into the following prophecies in various scriptures -

If the Bible foretold so many things, then surely it must have something to say about the greatest benefactor of mankind. the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may the peace of Allah be upon him) 1. Tawraath (Torah - Old Testament): (a) God says (to Moses), " I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee , and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him. Whoever refuses obedience to these commands which he gives in my name shall feel vengeance." - Deuteronomy 18:18,19. Muhammad (Sal) is the Prophet like Mousa (Alai) - Moses, in almost all character , as Deuteronomy 34:12 says, " ... there was never such another prophet in Israel like Moses. Remember Jesus is one of the prophet of Israel. So Jesus can't be the one told here. (b) ".. he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saint ..." - Deuteronomy 33:2. This prophesy denotes the victory of Makkah by Prophet Muhammad (Sal) with his ten thousands friends. Karen Armstrong, a Roman Catholic nun, a writer, in her recent publication, 'Muhammad, A Biography Of The Prophet', she writes: At the end of 628 A.D., the Meccans broke the Treaty of Hudaybiyah....On 10 Ramadan, January 630, Muhammad set out at the head of the largest army every to leave Madina. Nearly all the men in the umma had volunteered and along the road their Bedouin allies joined the expedition bringing the number up to 10,000 men. (c) " God coming nearer from Teman, the Holy One from yonder hills of Paran! See - His glory cover the heavens, and earth is full of His praise." - Habakkuk 3:3. Prophet Muhammad (Sal) is one who had come from Paran, the place in which his forefather Ismayeel (alai) - Ishmael - settled (Genesis 21:21) - now a part of Arabia - Makkah. (d) "He saw two riders, one rode on an ass and one rode on a camel, looked long at them, watching them eagerly.." - Isaiah 21:7. The rider on the ass is Jesus and on the camel is Prophet Muhammad (Sal). (e) " His mouth is most sweet, yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem." ( Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem.) - Song of Solomon 5:16. In the original Hebrew text, the name of Muhammad ( Sal) is clearly present with 'im' is added to respect, but which is translated as' altogether lovely ' in English. (f) "And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he said, I am not learned ." - < Isaiah 29:12. When Angel Jibraiel (Alai) commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, " I am not learned ".
(g) "
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the
glory of the Lord is risen upon
thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the
people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon
thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the
brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all
they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from
far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. (h) "The Scepter shall not depart from Judah, And the Lawgiver from between his feet, Until the coming of Shiloh, And to him belonged the obedience of peoples." - Genesis 49-10. Shiloh is formed of four letters, shin, yod, lamed and hi. There is a "Shiloh," the proper name of a town in Ephraim, (1 Sam. i. etc.), Shiluah and correspond exactly to the "Messenger of Yah," the very title given to Muhammad alone "Rasul Allah," i.e. "the Messenger of God." evidently not Jesus Christ, because he himself repudiated the idea that the Messiah whom Israel was expecting was a son of David (Matt. xxii. 44, 45; Mark xii. 35-37; Luke xx. 41-44.
(i) "And
I will shake all nations, and the Himada (
حمدا )of all the nations will
come; and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts. The glory
of last house shall be greater than that of the first one, says the Lord of
hosts; and in this place I will give Shalom
(Islam), says the Lord of Hosts.
(j) " For he says command on command, command on command,
rule on rule, rule on rule, here a little, there a little! For with
stammering
lips and in a strange language he will speak to this people. To whom he said,
This is the resting place, give rest to the weary; here is repose but they would
not listen. So for them the word of the LORD shall be: command on command,
command on command, rule on rule, rule on rule,
here a little, there a little! (k) "Behold I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: suddenly he will come to his temple. He is the Adonai (i.e. the Lord) whom you desire, and the Messenger of the Covenant with whom you are pleased. Lo he is coming, says the Lord of hosts." - Malachi 3:1. This Messenger of Allah who came suddenly to the temple of Solomon is Prophet Muhammad (Sal) only during the famous night journey to Heavens. (l) " Blessed are they that dwell in thy house; they will be still praising thee, Selah. Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. Who passing through the valley of Beca make it a well;.." - Psalms 84:4 - 6. The house is the House of Allah, The Hoy Kaa'ba, in the valley of Beca ( the ancient name of Makkah). (m) " Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.... Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit; let them shout from top of the mountains.. - Isaiah 42: 1,2,11. Jesus is not one who is for Gentiles. He is for Israelites. The delight of God is from Kedar, naturally it must be Muhammad (Sal).

2. Ingeel ( Bible - New Testament ) : (a) " And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another helper ( Paraclete) , that he may abide with you into the ages ( to come)." - John 14:16. The Paraclete is none other than Ahmad, another name for Muhammad (Sal). John 14:17 also records this 'another Paraclete' is the 'Spirit of Truth' (not Holy Spirit). History quotes that even the tyrant enemies of Prophet Muhammad (Sal) addressed him as 'As- Shaadiq'. manes 'trustworthy' - 'Spirit of Truth' The word 'Paraclete' ( paracletos) in Greek means comforter, counselor, advocate etc. The translation of Muhammad( Sal) - praised one - in Greek is 'periklutos' . Her is the copy of 200 C.E - (= Christian Era as Muslim can't accept the crucifixion of E'saa (Alai) - Jesus). Bible showing the word ' Paracletos "( from the web pages of the christens, who claim that this copy, if at all, contain the word ( paracletos) , and not 'periklutos' . See how the cat is out of the basket !) :
(b). " Then said the priest: "How shall the Messiah be called, and what sign shall reveal his coming?" Jesus answered: "The name of the Messiah is admirable, for God himself gave him the name when he had created his soul, and placed it in a celestial splendor. God said: "Wait Muhammad ; for your sake I will to create paradise, the world, and a great multitude of creatures, whereof I make you a present, insomuch that whoever shall bless you shall be blessed, and whoever shall curse you shall be accursed. When I shall send you into the world I shall send you as my Messenger of salvation, and your word shall be true, insomuch that heaven and earth shall fail, but your faith shall never fail." Muhammad is his blessed name." Then the crowd lifted up their voices, saying: "O God send us your Messenger: O Muhammad , come quickly for the salvation of the world!" - The Gospel of Barnabas - Chapter : 97. This Gospel clearly mention the name as Muhammad clearly, but the Christians claim this as one of the apocrypha books of New Testament. (c) "And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, what then? Are you Elias? And he said I am not. Are you that prophet ? And he answered , No." - John I: 20-22. These verses tell us that people of Christ period were expecting Christ and 'that' Prophet. That's why they asked about them. In the foot note seen under in the Bible denotes about 'that' Prophet as the Prophet whose coming is foretold by Moses in Duet. 18: 15-19. It unambiguously indicate that Christ can't be 'that' Prophet. Then he must be the great Prophet the history knows, the Prophet who came after Christ - Prophet Muhammad ( Sal). (d) " Jesus said: "Therefore, say I unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruit thereof " - Matthew 21:43. (e) "And Enoch [Idris in Arabic, one of Allah Almighty's Prophets peace be upon all of them to the people of Israel.] also, the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him." : Jude 1:14-15 It reminds the verse of Deuteronomy 33:2. This prophesy denotes the victory of Makkah by Prophet Muhammad (Sal) with his ten thousands friends.

3. Hindu scriptures : - All major books of the Hindus prophesy about Prophet Muhammad (Sal). In addition to many of his qualities, his life events, Ibraheem (Alai) - Abraham, Ka'bha, Bakkah ( Makkah) and Arabia, the prophecies mention his name as Mahamad ( in Puranas), Mamah ( in Kuntap Sukt -Atharva Veda), and Ahmad (in Sama Veda). (a) The translation of Verses 5-27 (Sanskrit text of the Puranas, Prati Sarg Parv III: 3, 3) is presented below .

4. Zoroastrian scriptures: -
"When such deeds the Persians will commit, a man from among the Arabs will be born, from among the followers of whom, crown and throne, and kingdom and religion of the Persians all shall be overthrown and dissolute. And the arrogant people shall be subjugated. They will see instead of the house of idols and the temple of fire, the house of worship of Abraham without any idols in it; the Qibla. And they will be a mercy for the worlds and then they will capture places of the temples of fire, Madain or Ctesiphon, and of the surrounding places of eminence and sanctity, and their religious leader will be an eloquent man and his message or what he will say will be well connected." - Avesta ( Dadistan ) : Sasan 1, verses 54-61. Naturally the man from Arabia was Prophet Muhammad (Sal)
5.Buddhist scriptures:
At his death bed his grief-stricken disciples asked him who will provide them guidance after him. The Buddha consoled them by saying; “Do not think I am the only Buddha. There had been many before me and will be many after me. At appropriate time a great Buddha will come.”
- * He will be born in a country to west ( and not in India). Remember that Arabia is in the west of India.
- * He will migrate from his homeland.
- * He will look at the Universe face to face. (Compare this with Mi’raj).
- * His countrymen cannot be reformed until his advent.
- * He will preach the same religion as mine but its perfection and success will reach peak stage only in his time (Compare this with the Qur-aan: 5:3 “..... I have perfected your religion for you.. . and have chosen Al Islam for you as religion... “).
- * While my disciples are in hundreds, his will be in thousands.
The Chief disciple Ananda asked him how to identify the great Buddha when he eventually comes. Gautama told them,- * “His name will be Maitreya.”
The word maitreya means love, kindness, compassion, mercy, and so on. The Arabic for mercy is Rahmat
These various illustrations show the uniqueness of this great Prophet (Sal). The beauty of him lies in the admiration of him by even those who were not accepting him as a Prophet, not only during his life time, but now also. People of his life time - friend or foe - used to call him as ' As- Shaadiq' (truthful) and 'Al Ameen' ) trustworthy). Precious things were given to him for safety purpose even by his worst enemies. He had handed over it to the owners before he migrated to Madina. Whether they accept him as God's Prophet or not, Prophet Muhammad (Sal) is praised widely by many. We can see many examples. To quote one -
"If greatness of purpose, smallness of means and astounding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad?.
Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational beliefs, of a cult without images, the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?" - Lamartine, Historie de la Turquie, Paris 1854, Vol. II pp. 276-277
He is the final Messenger of Allah. The Qur aan says," Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and final seal of the prophets." - Al Ahzab:40. In his life, he taught all the ways of life we have live. The Qur aan says," Indeed in the Messenger of Allah, you have a good example to follow for him..." - Al Ahzab:21.
He did what he told; he told what he did. He is a compete man, with a complete character. Here is the Man, who will intercede in the 'Hereafter' - Insha Allah!
