Islam - An introduction
Islam is an unique way of life. The Arabic word 'Islam' means 'peace' . It also means 'total submission' . Both the meanings are very suitable to Islam. Because Islam shows the way to endless peace, by promoting total submission to The God Almighty, on all times.
Before accepting Islam, we have to accept that there should be One God , who created us as well as this Universe. We are seeing some people saying that there is no God, and everything are existing naturally. If we think at least little intelligently, it will be easy to accept existence of a God. As such if, after accepting the existence of a God, we live accordingly, we'll attain Eternal Happiness , if our belief is really correct. Because the way of life promoted by God was promised to have Eternal Happiness as a Reward. Even the belief of existence of a God goes wrong ( It can't be), after all, Godly ways promote good way of life only, we'll not loose any thing or go astray. On the other hand, if anybody have disbelief about existence of a God, he'll not be at any loose only when his stand is correct. If he is on the wrong side of the belief, then he'll be destroyed with Angry of the God!. So it is wise to accept the existence of a God.
This is just for the sake of argument to accept the existence of a God. But there are lot ways to understand the existence of a God.
Then Who could be That God?
But there is one thing which we all can be accept firmly.
If there is God, then He must be Only One!
The argument of The Holy Qur-aan is acceptable to everybody. The Qur-aan argues that if there is more than one God, then they'll fight with each others, then more powerful among them only can exist. Or else they'll share equally among themselves, which is not possible. So concept if One and Only God can alone be an acceptable to everybody. We couldn't have any obstacle for accepting that.
Then Who could be that One and Only God ?
Think, think, and think!
