BeatTime is about MUSIC. We are a small group of musicians who not only love to play and teach music, but also perform, engineer and advise on all aspects of live and recorded audio production.

IS IT FOR YOU?
In terms of teaching we provide:

• a low cost alternative for those who wish to investigate whether their chosen instrument is for you. Any teacher will begin with the basics, so it makes little sense to in the beginning to learn from a more "experienced" (i.e. "expensive"!) teacher. It makes more sense to see if the student can develop competence and commitment with the rudiments, and then go on to more professional instruction if desired.

Engineering/Recording
Many of us have spent the last year at Pacific Audio Visual Institute in the Audio Engineering & Production program, having collectively spent hundreds of hours in the studio honing our recording and engineering skills. We are please to be able to provide:

• a home based recording studio using ProTools LE 6.7 on Mac
• access to a fine selection of microphones, including:
  • AKG D112

  • AT 3035, AT 4033
  • Shure SM57, 58A Beta
  • Apex 460
• use of personal instruments (pictured below)
