| If you live your life as a child, you have totally different perspective on life. Little kids can just walk up to someone and make friends, and play with this person for hours, and sometimes never know their name, and they arent sad that theyll never see that person again, they are happy they had a play buddy. They love things with all their heart, and hate things with everything that they have. They are the most adamant about things and sometimes the easiest going. They can have fantastic adventures, and never leave the bath tub, and they are free about everything. They love to give, and love to receive, they feel badly about things, and they do things just cause. Everything to a child is new and amazing, and they take new things and make stories about them, they live adventure everyday. If you pick a small child up and flip them upside down it is as if they are flying, and doing acrobatics. They can be a spaceman, a dog, and an f-15 with tomahawk cruise missiles with in the span of an hour. Sometimes they can become a dog for two days. They are impressionable but the impression isnt permanent, they are open about how they feel. If they are bored they cry, if they are anticipant they giggle under their breath, because it is so exciting. If a child wants something, they just come out and say, Will you buy me that? they dont play around and say, Wow, it would be really nice to have something to cook my eggs in. Children are the first to ask for help and the most stubborn when they dont want help. They look up to adults and pretend to be them, and adults have no idea how to even pretend to be a child. Children have the faith of 100 popes and the capability to comprehend their beliefs better than most. A child can tell you more in a drawing of their family than an adult after 15 therapy sessions and a couple thousand dollars. Money has no bearing on children, it is something they have no worries about but that intrigues them, because they dont understand them. The bigger the noise the scarier. Sometimes big things scare them and they cling onto your arm or your leg, and sometimes they run up to it and climb on it. They sleep as if nothing in the world is going on, and they are awake as if everything in the world depended on it. There is nothing in the world that is better than a cookie and milk, and having your pb&j cut just the way you like it with no crust. Your family contains more heroes and giants than could ever exist in any book. Your family pet is your best friend. School is more about lunch and the playground than it is about anything else. Playing is your primary goal in life. Everything is big and new, and exciting.
How do you live your life? Is everything boring, does everything taste the same? Does everyday seem to be the same routine? Where are you going? What do you live for? What do you love? How do you look at everything around you? |
