| CHAINS CAN'T HOLD A CHILD OF GOD |
| Though the world can't understand it, Though the world may think it odd, Freedom comes from knowing Jesus. Chains can't hold a child of God. Prison bars confine the body. Manacles confine the hands. But the spirit isn't subject To imprisonment's demands. When a man is held in bondage That man's bondage is his sin. Freedom comes when he releases God's sweet Spirit from within. God provided for man's freedom For He recognized the need. So, if "God's own Son shall free man He shall then be free, indeed!"
