This morning as we were leaving Savuti we saw an Impala hanging in a tree with it's stomach hanging out. It had puncture marks in it's neck where the leopard killed it.
It rained most of the day yesterday and some last night, so we were able to see a lot of tracks on the roads as we were driving today. We saw leopard, lion, cheetah, and jackal tracks, or spoor.
When we got into camp here at Moremi there were lots of Vervet monkeys here. I was wathcing a hornbill, watching me, so I got out some seed I had bought for the birds. He took it right out of my hand, and then all the monkeys came. Doug made me quit feeding them, and chased them away. I guess you shouldn't feed them, because they will get brave and become a nuisance and then the park service will have to kill them.
I forgot to mention that while we were at Ihaha, a baboon came up while we were at the back of the truck. He snatched our corn flakes off of the table and took off. We both started yelling at him, and Doug chased him a bit. It was really funny! In a while, I noticed that he was hiding behind a tree, I saw him scratching. After he left, I walked over and the corn flakes were still there. Guess he didn't like them.

We are at South Gate camp in Moremi. We got here about 12:00 this noon. We decided since we have been camping and driving for so many days to just stay at our camp and not go on a game drive. I washed all of our dirty laundry in a small tub in the ablutions and Doug made me two clotheslines and he hung the clothes to dry as I rinsed them.
When we arrived here, we spoke to the man cleaning the ablutions. He said there is no game here. We set up the tent and were going to take a nap, when we hear elephants. A whole herd of them right in the camp area. They didn't come real close, so that was good, but it was nice to watch them so close.
