Kubu Lodge

We are in our Rondavel in Kasane at Kubu Lodge. We just came from dinner where we had Beef Stroganoff with Cauliflower, a Greek Salad, and Bread. It was very good, but way too much food.

Today was a good day, we actually slept last night at Nata, only woke up once in the night. I did laundry in the shower there and Doug made a clothesline to hang it to dry. We left early about 8 am. We stopped once and gave children clothes, toys, shoes, and candy. They were fighting each other for everything. Doug took pictures.
On the way we saw Ostrich, Giraffe, Elephant, and Dik Dik. The Giraffe were crossing the road.
When we got to Kasane, we found this place "Kubu Lodge" on the Chobe River. We drove out to the river and saw a crocodile. There was an African guy who was there by the river. He was washing his truck by getting a bucket of water at a time, and using a reed broom to sweep out the bed of the truck. he said 12 people, (2 tourists) were killed by Crocodiles there.
A few guys from South Africa came and were fishing for Tigerfish. I found a Croc tooth.
Doug yells "Hey Missy, come here" all excited. He is standing there with his feet in the water. This is what he was excited about, he gets me to do it also...hippo tracks were right where we were standing! I can't believe the things Doug will get me to do! Not to mention, there are elephants all around this area also. Proof being in the elephant dung all around.
