About ' Mushindo Kempo Association, U.S.A. '
In 1998,  permission was granted  the U.S. to open an Independent Office of the Mushindo Kempo Association, housed under the umbrella of the
' Mushindo Organizations'.

The Mushindo Kempo Association (MKA, USA) traditions date far back into  history.  Such Teachings have lasted throughout the unified and classical methods of training.

The Method of Mushindo Ryukyuan Buddhist Kempo or sometimes referred to as '
Mushindo-Ryu;, is comprised therefore of many subjects.  They include the following:
Anatomy & Physiology       Study of Macro-dynamics      Meditation

Analetical & Geometric Study             Yoga                 Herbal Study

Buddhist Philosophy               Intro.& History of Chuan Fa

                     Intro.& History of Ryukyuan-Japanese Karate

Intro. & History of 'Closed Door' Methods, and much more.
The  'USMKA'  is a member of various inter-organizations and groups and is affiliated with overseas headquarters; however, acts as an Independent territories in Alaska, Australia, Canada, Hawaii, Mexico, Puerto Rico, & North America.  Such a territory is large, and although we have Shifu world-wide, there are seldon enough Mushindo Ryu public Teachers who can cover interest in our organization.  We therefore only acccpt the most serious  students, committed to our organization, whichis likened to joining a new family.

Members of the
USMKA, have much to study.  We are not a 'production-line' organization; that is, studies may take between 5-8 years or more years required to be awarded ' Yudansha ' (Black belt).
THE BODHISATTVA WARRIORS
Cover of the book:  The Bodhisatva Warriors written by , Shifu Nagaboshi Tomio.  Samuel Weiser Inc. Publisher
Many books regarding Martial Arts have been written over the past 30 years.  One of the best books on the market today is entitled,  The Bodhisattva Warriors written by Nagaboshi Shifu.  There have been several critics who disclaim its authenticity; however, there have been many world-wide who advocate its accurate portrayal of literature regarding its works.  Some disclaim its content, simply because they simply "cannot understand it as its literary content is highly intellectual".

No matter what one's opinion, this book is one of the best sources, pound-per-pound, on the market today. It contains over 500 pages of  teachings and information concerning the origins, inner philosophies, history and symbolism of Buddhist Monastic Budo (martial arts) from India, Tibet, China, and the Ryukyuans. The book's cost is less than $20 , a more than fair price considering there are other books out there that have much less information, and cost much more!

Although, we offer a seperate student handbook as well as a student course book,
The Bodhisattva Warriors,  is considered the student handbook amongst all MKA, USA members,  as well as other 'Mushindo Organizations' members, such as the Tenshin Buddhist Council, and other Buddhist & Taoist Organizations.

For those of you who are planning to become members of the MKA, USA  you might want to attend your local book store and check out this book.  Others might want to check out your local library, as it is now available in many libraries. A suggestion is to read it through completely, then come back and read it several more  times as to evaluate what you have missed or possibly misinterpreted.
