Summary: Lucien Carnes�r, a newly turned Lycan, has withdrawn into himself. His family - who doesn�t know of his condition - has tried everything they could think of and are now trying to make a new start, hoping it will help him become his old self again. He tries his best, but has a hard time fitting in and eventually meets other creatures similar to himself, including Vampires, other Lycans, and Slayers. You get to know him and everyone else closely throughout this story, exploring how each and every one of them are connected to each other in some way, shape or form.

GOMEN!!!!! *bows deeply* I -finally- got to sit down and write when I had free time AND my muses were out. ^^;; Gomen, gomen, gomeeeen!! Please, if you feel the need to hit anyone, hit Kosui-sempi! *edges away from him* Anyway� I won�t bore you with my ramblings and let you read the story!~Beep-beep-beep-beep-- *smack!*~ Emerald green eyes opened, still darkened by sleep. �Ngh� Fiiiine� I�ll get up now�� whined Mikael to himself after finally deciding to stop hitting the snooze button. �Why�school star� s�early�� he mumbled sleepily to himself. Obviously, he wasn�t a morning person. He heaved a sigh and slowly got up from his bed, padding over to the bathroom, all the while shielding his eyes from any light. Eventually he was done getting ready for school and raced down the stairs, dressed in a pair of old jeans and a green sweatshirt - wide awake now.
He quickly made a piece of toast for himself, all the while chanting, �I�m late, I�m late, I�m late�� He�d fallen asleep again in the bathroom. Standing up, in the shower. Even before the toast was done, he took it out himself and stuck in his mouth while pulling his jacket on and grabbing his bag, rushing out the door after slipping on his sandals. Walking really fast down the street, he tripped a few times, though always managing to catch himself.
On nearly the other side of the small town, Lucien was already up, dressed in a pair of black jeans and a plain red shirt and had eaten by the time Mikael had hit the snooze for the tenth time. He was slowly walking down the street, half reading a book, half trying to figure out where the hell he was supposed to be heading, versus where he was heading currently. And, as you would expect, the inevitable happened: both Mikael and Lucien ran into each other. Literally.
Mikael fell to the ground with a small �oof!� and shook his head, getting his bearings again. He glanced up and grinned slightly, �Hey! You�re the silent kid from yesterday!� Lucien blinked slowly and nodded, smiling a bit. He then held out a hand for Mikael who took it, standing up. �Thanks,� said Mikael as he brushed himself off, �So� You headed for school as well?� Lucien nodded slightly. �Ah� Well, you have a better sense of direction than me. The first time I went to that high school, I was late by about two hours �cause I got lost - and in a small town like this!� he said with a laugh, �Well, we should get moving� Don�t want to be late, or Ms. Verron will bite our heads off.�
Lucien nodded slightly and they both made their way to the high school. As they got inside, Lucien became more nervous, even chewing on his bottom lip slightly.
�Miiiikaaeeel~!!!� came a yell from behind them and Mikael was tackled to the ground by an UGM - or an unidentified giggling male. Lucien jumped in surprise, edging away slightly, though a hand on his shoulder stopped him. He blinked slightly and glanced up at the other. He had long black hair, dark brown eyes and was just a little taller than Mikael. He wore a pair of pale blue jeans and the baseball teams jacket over a plain back shirt, white sneakers adorning his feet.
A sigh escaped the others lips and letting go of Lucien�s shoulder, and said, �Honestly, Misae� You scared the poor kid.�
The other one who was currently on top of Mikael, now known as Misae, glanced over, �Oh� Heh� Sorry,� he said with a small, sheepish grin. He stood up off of Mikael and went over to them, studying Lucien, who was doing the same to him. Misae had shoulder length white blonde hair that had a slight wave at the bottom, red eyes - obviously contacts - and he had multiple piercings. His bottom lip was pierced three times, one eyebrow twice and both ears pierced; the left was just the earlobe but the right had three only in the cartilage. He had on a pair of black and red/pink plaid bondage pants, a shirt that said �recruiter� in rainbow letters and all black Chucks on his feet - basically the complete opposite of the others. He was about an inch taller than Lucien.
�Hi!� Misae said holding out his hand to the other with a wide grin, �Welcome to Alvrine High!� Lucien blinked, a bit startled by the others attitude and slowly reached out his hand, shaking the others�. Misae tilted his head slightly when he got no verbal response, though didn�t say anything about it and just went on, �Obviously you met Mikael already, and now me. But, this, is Aiden.� He pointed over to the other male that had spoke earlier. �He is off limits, if you know what I mean,� he said grinning slightly. Lucien blinked slightly, shaking his head a bit.
Mikael finally had gotten off of the ground and pulled Misae away slightly from Lucien, �He means no harm, I assure you.� He grinned faintly, �He basically just means, if you swing that way, don�t go after Aiden, Misae�s already claimed �im.� Lucien nodded slowly, glancing at Aiden as Misae went over and glomped onto him as he made weak protests.
Mikael chuckled softly and shook his head, �Well, we should get you to the office so you can get your schedule, eh?� Lucien smiled slightly and nodded. They started walking, Mikael calling out a �see you later!� to the other two, and soon they got to the main office. ��It�s very strange that the main office is in the back end of the school�� Mikael mused to himself. Then he just shrugged and went inside, holding the door open for Lucien.
A/N: Yeah� Another even smaller, uneventful chapter. But, you get to meet new characters. X3 And, yeah� I lied in the first chapter. Aiden doesn�t belong to me. He�s my friends Cait�s character. And she also has another character I�m using later. ^^ On another note� How Mikael woke up? That�s basically me waking up. XDD Not a morning person, am I. Hopefully I�ll get the next one out a LOT sooner - I have it planned out in general� ^^;;;
