| US-45 through the Ottawa National Forest in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan is a beautiful sight. There is very little traffic and great scenery. Highly recommended....but it gets better! |

| Of particular interest to roadgeeks is this small remaining section of what I presume to be the old US-45 bridge over the Ontonagon River in the U.P. The current bridge in use in the background. (Notice the steel bar/plate fastened over the remaining bridge so people don't get any silly (and dangerous) ideas..... |
