Notes On My Life

As of February 5, 1998.

New News

A lot has happened since October. Most notably, I've been studying like a bastard this quarter, in an effort to improve my grades from last quarter. I have been initiated into the Sigma Tau Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi, and am working soon on the web page for that (view the current one by clicking here). I am looking forward to getting my car back after being rear ended. I haven't been to Denny's or Taco Bell at 3:00am in two months now, and I'm starting to go into withdrawel. Anyway, that's about it from here. El Cocko flooded the library I study at, so I have to study at another really uncomfortable one. I swear, I've become a bitter old Jew...

By the way, this new background is from Queen's "Innuendo".

Old News

Not much to report from The Farm. Classes are going well, and I've made a lot of new friends. Most notably is that I have joined the Stanford Rugby team, which has been an absolute blast! Pretty soon I'll be beating ass against such schools as Chico State, Sacramento State, and CAL! Visit the Stanford Rugby web page. I've been doing a ton of reading for Hum Bio, which has taken all my time.

Circa May 1997: Okay, now for some disgusting news. I won a pie-eating contest (one of the AEPi Rush events), and will post a picture of the bracket as soon as I can (as well as pictures of the tourney, if I have them. Just so you guys know, I was the number one seed in the Midwest in a tournament that began with the Sweet Sixteen. My odds were 8-2, and I definitely pulled a couple of upsets (most notably, my 275 lb. football center of a roommate).

Honorable Mentions

I would like to thank, first of all, my dormmates who played mud football the other day. That was an absolute blast, and maybe the best football game I've ever played in. Not to discount my 16th birthday party where I got a concussion, but you know, I don't remember much of that anyway. I'd like to thank my friends back home (Daniel, Jenny, Andrew, Harmony, Luciano, you guys know who you are) for showing me such a freakin' good time over the break. I would also like to congratulate Courtney McAlister on finally making a web page for herself. You can visit it at: http://www.stanford.edu/~idunno.

Can this be the real Courtney McAlister?
