Rudy and I met on January 17, 2001 in a Yahoo Chat room, thanks to my friend Jennifer M. She convinced me to go to a Los Angeles based chat room so I can possibly meet a guy that I could actually go out with (the guys I had met were out of state or the country). So I agreed and we met up in the chat room where after at least an hour I still hadn't been aproached by anyone. Finally I decided to give it one more shot and I moved to another LA chat room and I decided that I would chat with any guy wanting to chat. A few minutes later a guy came in asking to chat with a latina. So I responded and we have been chatting ever since :-)
After a month of chatting and talking on the phone we decided to meet in person. We went out on February 18th to dinner and a movie. Our first date wasn't as we had hoped, probably cause we were both so nervous (it was after all my very first date). So we said good night after a pleasant date and I thought we'd just remain friends. After another month of chatting, our feelings began to grow more and we decided to try again and we went on our second date (this time to Universal City Walk) on April 21st. This date was very different. We immediately felt a spark and spent practically every weekend together ever since.
