On August 23, 2004 Rudy asked me to marry him. While the proposal was not what either of us was expecting, it was sweet and romantic. Rudy wanted to take me to a nice dinner and propose, but I had warned him that an invitation out of the blue would make me suspicious. This was exactly what he did. We ended up not going to dinner because I already had plans the next day and that day was too short notice. So instead he wanted to take me to the beach, which didn't happen because it was a very chilly evening. So we went to the park and stayed in the car, where he took a box out of his jacket, opened it and asked me if I would marry him. I of course said yes. |
