Yvonne	Kari
Breaking up	Yvonne broke up with me twice... first accusing me of wanting to be with another woman while she was seeing two other men at the time. The break-up lasted two weeks, then I was invited to join her over my Christmas break from school in 2000-01, after she'd read through her other boyfriend's romantic overtures in emails to other women. (He wrote to two other women that he was moving in with Yvonne for just a while, claiming she was mentally or emotionally "unstable." Two weeks after that last visit she broke up with me for good as I asked if she was with another man when she wouldn't answer her phone one weekend. She said she could no longer take the accusations.	Kari never gave a reason why she wanted to "step back" from our relationship in September, 2002. The more I asked what was wrong or what I could do to make things better, the angrier she became. What happened after that is already well-documented here and needs no further rumination.
Aftermath	I was absolutely crushed after Yvonne said she no longer wanted to have contact with me in any way. I turned to online gaming in Yahoo! for company at night. My first date afterward was three months later with a woman I'd occasionally message online. We dated on-and-off for two months when she broke it off. It was nine months after that before I kissed another woman.	I was not only devastated with the loss of Kari and my unborn son from my life, but frightened for my safety as well. She said she would to everything in her power to see me lose the two things I most loved, teaching and time with my daughter. The next time I was with another woman was nearly a year later, meeting her in a bar. We had two encounters, and I have since moved here to the east side of the state.
Last contact	The last time I attempted contact with Yvonne was a week-and-a-half ago. I emailed her to wish her a happy birthday and to let her know how my family's been doing over the past year. Her last contact with me was over a year ago. My Christmas present was on order from my visit in 2000, and was sitting in her office at work until she sent it to Kari's and my house in August, 2002.	My last contact with Kari was this morning, as I was admitted to testify telephonically for our initial child support hearing. It was the first time I'd heard her voice since October, 2002. My legal paternity was established this morning, and child support is to be determined next month. After Kari testified in court of the basis of paternity, I was asked if I had any questions for the plaintiff. I asked, "Is Dawson well?" She said, "Yes, he is."
