So the remainder of the school year went on. Classes kept me busy, APAC four nights a week, Algebra Parties, and the occasional date with Jackie. Mind you, with a dead Audi and a dead Pontiac, getting around was similar as the same time the year before. Since there were about 30 Holmen students working other campaigns at APAC, it was easy to get a ride to work each night. Anna told me once, "Mr. Jones, you're the only teacher I'd ever do this for." Being careful not to have a repeat from last year, I made sure that if any girl were giving me a ride that someone else was in the car with her. With guys I was pretty safe from worry.

I was ecstatic and looking forward to shaping the best and brightest young minds in the school.

In May, though, my popuarity took one more bite out of my ass. Three guys were off-campus headed to Subway over lunch and asked if I'd like to join them. I liked and got along greatly with each of them, and I said sure. As I popped into the car, I kidded them by reminding them we had a closed campus... but was told by each that over the past three weeks they were off-campus every day and it was no big deal. Flying under the radar.
