Hiking to Toboggan Falls and Robson Pass

Mount Robson Day 1: Hike into Berg lake Day 2: Snowbird Pass Home Page

Day three of our adventure. Tracey woke bright and early and headed down to the cabin. She came back right away to let me know that it was a clear sunny day and the top of Mount Robson was visible. I had the pleasure of awakening my parents, revenge from the day before, to let them know that they should hurry up to see the peak of the mountain. It was a beautiful sight! We had breakfast and the four of us headed up Toboggan Falls to the cave, a small disappointment, and then along to Robson Pass. It was a full day excursion, but pleasant.

Tracey lay down in the middle of the falls to take this photo.

Although this is part of Toboggan Falls, we though this section would be better named Luge falls.

An albino marmot. This creature seemed blind and unless food thrown towards him landed right under his nose he would not locate the food. It is amazing that an animal like this has been able to survive in the mountain area. he seemed to have three female marmots hanging around his lair.
