The woman sitting in the chair is Crystal Dowd. Back then, she was a really great aspiring singer. These days, she is the manger of a digital imagery for some Hollywood studio. (Check the credits on "The Titanic".) The guy is Gary Dobbs, her then boyfriend. He and Crystal moved to CA and he became a successful recording engineer. (he was engineering in a studio called Crosstown, in the basement of a store we are standing in front of in these pics.) It was common for us to jam out on the street and often people would join us (as did the unknown trumpet player in the picture.) |
