| Send Me an E-mail! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I've set it up so my e-mail address will be the same. To start out with, I am not sure how frequently I will be able to respond to e-mails and personal messages etc. It really depends on what my host family wants and my setup with the internet and things like that. So, I encourage you to e-mail me if you really want to know something or communicate something more personal with me, but please don't be offended if it takes me a while to get back to you. But anyway, you can e-mail me at: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Send Me Some Snail Mail! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Things like care packages or just regular letters are always a nice surprise. I think letters sent by snail mail (regular mail with a stamp and an envelope) have a much more personal quality to them. Please be advised that I will not be at this address until APRIL 5th! So, do not mail me anything before then please. So, letters should take between 5 and 7 days to get to me. Finally, be aware that you may need to adjust postage if you are sending something other than a letter (two stamps should be fine). If you are unsure of how much postage to use, simply inquire within your local post office. There is no need to write in Japanese script, it will suffice to write the address as it is written below. Anyway, here is the address to which you can send things to me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Send a Message to my Cell Phone! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I GOT MY CELL PHONE!!! Note: do not send long e-mails to my phone! Please limit your messages and make them as short as possible. If your message ishalf as long than this paragrah, cut at least 1/2 of your message out. Also, do not expect lengthy replies as it is a laborious process to type a direct response from the phone. Also, you will be able to receive pictures or videos that I take with my phone. Check out the J-Phone website to see pictures and information on MY phone! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Call My Cell Phone! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Please note that you should only call my phone when you REALLY REALLY REALLY want to talk to me. I would recommend that you keep our conversation short....REALLY short otherwise your parents are going to burn you at the stake and use their phone bill as kindling to light the fire underneath you. Also, when you people turn the clocks forward in April (whenever that is), I will be 13 hours ahead of you. So, if it's a Tuesday night at 8pm on the east coast, it's Wednesday morning at 10am for me. During school hours (around 8am to some time in the afternoon), my phone will be off and you will have to leave a message for me. You will hear a voice that says a brief message in Japanese and all she's saying is that you should leave your name and reason for calling after the beep. Have fun! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Here is the number of my cell phone as it must be dialed from the United States: 011-81-90-1366-5381 I think that's it. But, it's possible that you may need an extra "0" so you can try: 011-81-090-1366-5381 |
