The boys night out:

They decide to crash the party, with Mercutio (kinsman to the Contessa, played by the inimitable Cameron Schnell) as their "introduction man" No one but Cameron could deliver those "crowd pleaser" lines that Shakespeare loved to use in his more colorful moments! Mercutio is the fellow with the blue target on his chest (those who know the plot will understand how this works into the story later on). Romeo is the guy in the bright blue velvet tunic. Some of the actors raised objections to not being allowed to wear tights, but as you can see, the costumes are really bulky and loose, which is is keeping with Lord of the Rings that is, the Romanesque period of clothing. (Tights are more Reinaissance, which is the true Elizabethan time period). The few people who snuck into tights really did look "skinny legged" so Mrs. Cole and I were really glad everyone was able to wear jogging pants instead.

Some other people in the dance scenes (choreographed by Jasmin Palmer, who also played the Apothocary) are Eli Kenny/Paris (in the purple tunic and belt) Lucentio (Tito Vasquez, in the hat), Isabell/Theresa Bentley (in the yellow dress) Generys/Kenadi Lewis (in the fushia dress) Crissy again (in the burgandy dress as a dancer), Natasha/Juliet is dancing with Cameron/Mercutio at one point (red dress), AND last but not least the winner of my "clean costume" award (I'm serious, he didn't get a DROP of make-up on his tunic!) is Justin Beal/Lord Capulet. Some of the dancers had to do a real fast change backstage, and they should be congratulated! That shows real "pro" talent when you can change and pull off what they did!
