Act III

At least I think it's somewhere around Act III, my Shakespeare memory is imperfect! Shakespeare traditionally used five Acts in his plays, and they more or less follow a pattern. The first is the introduction, the second sets the plot in motion. The third scene *I think* ends with the happy couple getting married in secret, the fourth is the "set up" for the tragedy, and the fifth is where everyone dies. Anyway this is the middle, and the fun part of the play. We are again treated to Mercutio and his "crowd pleasing" ribaldry. Juliet's messenger, the Nurse enters "under full sail". Those who are familiar with the Ziefferelli movie from the late 60's know this is a pretty naughty scene, and very funny. The Nurse and Mercutio are two well beloved charcters for over 400 years, and Karla and Cameron did wonderful jobs.

This was also another of those "no small parts" scenes for Crissy; she did a bang up job of the eavesdropping Petra. "Anon?"

This last shot isn't very good, a peep between two of the "legs" that is black curtains that mask the wings. The Nurse and Romeo talk.
