This week is after the mid-semester break. This week Dr. Siva reviewed prototyping of systems. This clarified more our understanding of our ideal system that we are working on. The most important things we learn from this week are the concepts of database and interface. Each of which has its own function because database, from my perception, is like a big storeroom which stores all the data provided to the interface of the system and is intelligent when the users can track down the users records. Decision making in an Integrated Justice Environment System is an example that can clarify our understanding of database. It is very helpful and useful because information data in the database are all relevant to the understanding and evaluation if the case and help the judges in their decision making process. Here is my initial database. Another interesting part of the session was the discussion of the priorities of what is the most important things we take into account before or during designing a systems. The range of the most important aspects are accordingly agrees by most of us are users needs, database structure, time-cost effective and design features. These aspects should be considered by the designers while designing the systems, so that the system will come out and fulfill the need of the users. |
