The most important thing that Dr. Siva discussed today is the Intelligent/Expert Systems, Adaptive Systems. He defined what the intelligent system is. Different terms relevant in the understanding of the system like �cookie�, �bandwith�, history of usage�, etc. were mentioned. The designer of website or system should consider what the intelligence of the system is.
Dr. Siva also presented us the articles that contain the different example of intelligent tutoring systems with the benefits for the users. These articles include �PAT Online: Challenge of Constructing a Mega tutor over the web� by Steven Ritter (1997), �Next�Generation Training over the World Wide Web� by David G. Goldstein, and �The Challenge of Constructing a Mega tutor over the Web� by Kurt Rrowley.
After the break, Dr. Siva discussed adaptive systems more. He asserted that the system or web designer could design their own system by adapting the existing system or website, so that the later system would be more updated and perfect. This gave me some ideas that I do not have to think hard to create my system.
