i think it's a good
idea to digitize your artwork because they get lost, damaged, stolen, given away..
and also because they can be shared with others.
i remember having art class almost every year
during high school and college years.
spent many hours visualizing and listening...

reproductions of artist name Boris
(watercolor),
(acrylic over air-brush)
watercolor is tricky and difficult to work with. for detailed painting, expensive
kinds just didnt work.
had to use the watercolor palette used in pre-school. used gravity, paper towel for
gradient..
first, wet an area with water. then use paper towel for the right amout of wetness.
use gravity and paper towel to control the spread. you'll get the hang of it
after a while. technical yes, but not too difficult.
MUST USE THE RIGHT WATERCOLOR.

"civil war"(pencil)
used to wonder a lot about why people do certain things...
then one year things started to
come together and i began to see the "big picture".
this drawing was done after taking a course on
civil rights movement.
some students did not like this painting... i remember the subtle looks.
but after reading GONE WITH THE
WIND, i understood...
there's a song called *civil war* by guns-n-roses, and the sentiment is well
represented.
"look at our young men fighting... look at our women crying...
look at our young men dying... way we've always done
before..."
"what's so civil about war anyways..."
considering world history and some events going on even today, there's nothing unusual
about why they did what they did.
