Dorwyn

The grand town of Dorwyn is built into the cliff-face of the Wyvern Peaks. It is primarily concerned with mining and as such, 90% of Mythalia's dwarves live here. Phisically, Dorwyn consists of two main sections. Inner Dorwyn is buried under the tons of rock inside the peaks. It contains miles and miles of tunnels and caverns dug out by the dwarf and goblin population of Dorwyn. These two groups rarely leave their subterrainian abode and are primarily concerned with mining, leaving the outside world alone. There is also an intense rivalry between these two groups and skirmishes are a common occurence.

Outer Dorwyn is carved into the cliff-face and houses the rest of Dorwyn's population, who are mainly concerned with administration, industry and farming.

The inhabitants of Dorwyn enjoy telling the story of the Dragon in the Deep. The dwarves especially enjoy recounting the deeds of their great King Breadon Golden Blade, who, as the legends have it, slayrd the dragon single-handedly after seven hours of battle.
