His first major stage appearance was in the world premiere of Fr. Maramba’s one act “Aba Sto. Nino”, “La Naval” as Don Gonzalo and Olandres. I, “Ang Sarswela sa San Salvador” as Mambiblgkas. lie has participated in numerous choral presentations such as the CCP production of “Verdi’s Requiem”, “Brahms Requiem” with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra as Piero Gamba Conductor. He also participated in the concert series of the PPO such as Ninth Symphony of L.V. Beethoven, and Italian Opera Exerpts as Barbieri, conductor. The UST production of Sampung mga Daliri Atbp., and Excerpts from the opera Carmen. He was part of the one thousand voice/soloist in the closing liturgy of the World Youth Day ‘95 celebrated by Pope John Paul II in Luneta on January 15, 1995. He conducted Franz Joseph Haydn’s “The Creation”. He was, a semi-finalist in the l9 National Music Competitions for Young Artist (NAMCYA) vocal solo C category. He has also appeared in televised performances at the Concert at the Park, Paco Park Presents and A Little Night of Music.
He studied choral conducting under the tutelage of Prof. Ricardo Mazo. He attended choral master classes and workshops of Piero Gamba, Nobuaki Tanaka, Eugene Castillo, Jonathan Velasco, Joel Navaro, Eudinice Palaruan and National Artist for choral music Andrea Veneration.
As a growing musician, he is a member of the Philippine Society for Music Education, Vocal Ensemble Philippines, Kodaly Society of the Philippines, National Music Competitions for Young Artist (NAMCYA). Asian Youth Choir and Philippine Chamber Choir. He had been to Japan, Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Canada for choral affiliations and performances.
He was the music director of the UST Central Seminary, conductor of UST Psaltenon, UST Pediatric Choral, UST Rotaract Off Keys Choral, UST AB Choral, and asst. conductor of Santisimo Rosario Parish Choir.
At present, he is the conductor of the Kaibigan Vocal Ensemble and St. Mary’s College Quezon City High School Singers.
 
 
Baritone “Jun Ayran” known by many, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music at the University of Santo Tomas, Conservatory of Music in Music Education major in voice under the tutelage of Prof. Irma P.E. Potenciano. He was a member of the award winning UST Coro Tomasino from 1994 - 1998.
