Tinai

Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE-3)

Unique, that's what Tinai is. Snobbish yet friendly, cold yet loving, quiet yet outgoing, a mixture of traits defined and undefined. Though not much of a talker, she is a great listener who will give you a piece of her mind when asked.

Coming from a musically inclined family, its not surprising that Tinai has the incredible voice that she has. Though she is a new member of the MIT Concert Singers, her love for music dates back to time immemorial. Through the years, she developed her musicality as an active member of their parish choir.

As an active student, she graduated 1st honorable mention in high school and consistent varsity swimming officer since grade school. She was a former member of the NCR based team, RRST, coached by Mr. Ral Rosario and has joined numerous competitions including the Philippine National Games.

An ECE student, she is the eldest daughter of Engineer Manuel A. Albana and Dra. Benita G. Albana.

Civil Engineering (CE-3)

Kla is a former member of the St. Mary's College Concert Chorus. Power Alto was how the members dubbed her. Kla amazes us every time she opens her mouth and produces such an amazing alto voice that perfectly blends with the rest of the sections.

Klariz has been part of the MIT Concert Singers for almost 2 years now. Everyone in the chorale would attest to the fact that her commitment to the choir is very solid. She is one of those people who are found working behind-the-scenes at every activity.

A junior student at Mapua, taking up Civil Engineering, she manages to take care of her studies as well as her chorale responsibilities.

Behind her powerful voice is a lady so humble, quiet and very religious that she always reminds us to sing for the greater glory of God.

Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE3)

Ces for short, is an artistic, energetic and enthusiastic member of the choir. Singing has been always part of her life. She is proud to be a member of the MITCS, even before she enrolled for the Institute. She is also a member of Laudi Spiritu Chorale and the Junior Choir at St. Paul the Apostle Parish Church.

In her high school days, she was a member of St. Marys College Concert Chorus. She combines music with arts when doing her drawings and paintings during her free time. She also loves to play Table Tennis, which boosts up her energy and spirit as well.

Above all these, Ces is determined to focus more on her studies and become a successful engineer someday.

graduate of: Industrial Engineering (IE)

Eli as her friends used to call her was one of the founding members of the MIT Concert Singers. She had shown her passion in music and arts at the age of six when she took up piano and ballet lessons at the same time.

Eli studied in a catholic school and was a former pianist of her Alma Maters Church and had served them for four years. In college, aside from being an active member of the MITCS, she had also joined the Mapua Music Society (MMS).

Now, this 21-year-old lady is now one of the alumni of the group. And even if she had already finished her degree in BS Industrial Engineering, she will still continue sharing her talents to the new upcoming members of the group, which she has considered her second family.

Eleanor believes that God had given her this voice as a gift and one way of being thankful is by sharing it with others.

graduate of: Computer Engineering (COE)
2nd degree: Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE-4)

Rosalyn or Osang, as she is fondly called, is one of the founding members of the chorale. She sings as Alto 2 for the group. Known for her solo parts in most of the Tagalog/Kundiman songs the group performs, she is mostly remembered as the beautiful singer-athlete of MIT.

Osang is proud to have been a member of the St. Marys Glee Club when she was still in High School. When she discovered the auditions for the MIT choir, she went on without any hesitation and sure enough she passed with flying colors.

Osang has since then became an active member of the chorale even if she had to juggle her time from school to volleyball training and then to chorale rehearsals. Despite her very busy schedule she still managed to finish her course and graduated with B.S. in Computer Engineering.
