I haven't actually bought this car yet, but I gave the girl a deposit.. So, if the mechanic gives it the thumbs up,
(yeah, I'm gonna get a pre-purchase inspection this time) then I'll buy it. It's in MINT condition though, no rust anywhere
totally rad. I pray to.. I don't pray, to be honest, but I hope like hell that there's nothing wrong with it. Oh, and a pre-
purchase is gonna cost me like 350 bucks. He's pretty thorough. Or he's ripping me off. Whichever.
This car is a 325i, fast and loaded. Power windows, sunroof, alloy wheels, tons of gadgets, AC, leather seats.. And did I say
no rust? Not a spec. California car. Quite a few miles, but mostly highway, from what I gather. Anyway, I'm psyched. I am going
to pay her 5500 for it if the mechanic finds problems, but I'll give her a 200 dollar tip if he doesn't. That's because everybody
is a bastard, so when you find someone who isn't acting like a bastard, you should reward them. If she rips me off though
I swear I'll run back to BC and break her ankles like in "Misery". Well, that's a bit heavy. Maybe I'll just rage in silence..
The 325i is a 6-cyliner engine, with dual exhaust, 4 wheel disk brakes, and plenty more. You can "chip" a 325i (meaning
put an aftermarket computer chip into the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to get much more horsepower, and remove the rpm limiter
(currently set at 6500 rpm). Drop an aftermarket air filter in, and you've already improved your performance quit a bit.
All in all, it is a much better car than the 318i, and like my mechanic says, "... a good base to build on". With tidbits
of sheer genius like that being thrown around, how could he not be a good mechanic?
