One of the first things we must do once we begin Project Groundhog is to give our groundhog a name.

We must send an online Valentine message to the members of our Groundhog team.

We must write about our community. Our team members will write about their community.

We must create a picture of our groundhog and post the pictures on the Internet. We may also write a story or poem about our groundhog.

We must research information about groundhogs. The information we collect will be sent to our team members.

Our class must come up with a definition of Spring and Winter. We are to answer two questions: How do we know Spring is here? What makes it Winter?

We will email our definition and our conclusion about the accuracy of our groundhog to our team.
