Sam and Zoe have high comprehension. Jodi and Mitch spell out things like "m-i-l-k" so they don't understand us. Jodi asks "do you want to watch a video?" and they race to the family room couch to prepare for a viewing. If we say "do you want to go outside?", they'll run to the door and bang on it.

Zoe hugs Sam. Sam and Zoe walk down last step of stairs by themselves.

Sam and Zoe blow air on command. Sam gets a new boy doll (he still loves his dolls!)

Sam gives Zoe a pacifier and toy, Sam pets Zoe's hair while saying "nice", Sam rests head on Zoe (over last few days). Sam learns to open washer/dryer door so he and Zoe can play with broom, mop, and vaccum.

Sam and Zoe get a new plastic car to play in. Sam and Zoe get United mileage plus #s.

Sam and Zoe hug and kiss each other.

Pismo Beach for the weekend with grandma Carole and great grandma Irene.

Sam and Zoe's first time in the ocean (just their feet). Sam is afraid of the garage (from door opener; he's also terrified of elevators). Zoe is afraid of Adel.

What sound does a pig make? Sam and Zoe both make snorting sounds with their throats.

Neighborhood block party. Sam and Zoe have a great time, running around all over the place, following other bigger kids.

Sam and Zoe comprehend most of the pictures in their books (where's the moon, stars, tree, house), and most of the parts of their body (where's your hair, head, eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, ears, cheeks, arms, legs, toes, belly button).

Sam and Zoe walk up a flight of stairs by themselves holding a railing.
