As a deckhand you will be required to take these classes:

3 Branches
Weapons
Sailing I

And you will also be required to RP out a chore assigned by a ranking Atha'an Miere. When RPing a chore the post must be more than one or two sentences. For example if the chore is to paint someone's cabin you cannot just post: "I paint the cabin". You must have how you paint the cabin where you find the paint how your character feels about the chore and so on. We don't expect you to be award wining writers we just want a well thought out post.

You will be allowed to play pranks on people. As deckhands you will be allowed the most leway in the number and frequency of the pranks. Any prank must be aproved by both me and Wyna. Pranks will be posted on the High Seas board unless the prank specifically takes place during a class. Also you must begin thinking about what clan you will want your character to belong to. A list of the clans can be found here. You will nee to decide what clan you want by the time you become an Apprentice, as it determines who your mentor will be.
