Chapter 1: Moving to Exided
With a huge YAWN, Alexis Cosia woke up. The annoying digital clock continued to spring alive every time it made another BUZZ. She smacked her lips. "Five more minutes!" she shouted at her clock as she pulled the pillow from underneath her head to her ears, vainly trying to block out the noise. But, as she knew, the clock just wouldn't listen, and wouldn't take no as an answer. She sighed, defeated, as she reached and shut off the clock. "I so wish that it was Saturday!"
Actually, she was off school. Today she was moving. From her beautiful home in New York City, New York, to some place called Exided, California. "Whoever named it Exided must have been either really drunk or seriously disturbed." She moaned. "Only one thing good will probably come out of it," thinking of the house. She had seen pictures of the house. It was pretty big, and only on the other side of the rich town. Her room would be the size of her parent's master bedroom, and she would have her own bathroom. It was a three-room, four bathrooms, 2 story, and two-acre house. It was supposedly a gift to her father from his boss. Since they were only moving there for buisiness, the company was forced to give them something for the trouble. "And besides: they wouldn't want to misplace their favorite and best employee!" Alexis said with a smile. She made way to her closet. It was the last outfit she would be wearing in New York. It was a nice baby blue tang top, with tight dark blue pants.
She took them from her closet and into the bathroom. She quickly showered and dryed, blow-dryed her hair, and dressed. She came downstairs for breakfast. Her twin brothers, Mike and Bill, came trotting into the kitchen. Their PJs still on; they took place at the kitchen table. "What's for breakfast mom?" Mike asked. "Your father had just gone to McDonalds to get some breakfast. Pancakes, I think." Mrs. Cosia said. "Pancakes?" Alexis asked, with her tongue out. Mike and Bill joined her. They had had pancakes nearly every-other day. "It's practically the cheapest thing on the menu. And money is a problem." Mr. Cosia replied.
"I still don't get why were moving. Dad is just going to go one business trips every-other week, so we won't ever see him anymore." Alexis complained. Before Mrs. Cosia could argue, the front door was heard opening. Everyone in the kitchen jumped up and greeted the stranger at the door. His hair was a deep brown and his eyes were peircing blue. They seemed to run in the family. "Daddy!" Alexis cried happily. "I'm starving! What'd you get?" "Pan-nope! I got the full meal breakfast! I knew you were getting sick and tired of it, me too, so I just decided, 'hey, why not?'" "Thankyou!" Alexis embraced him in a hug. "She must really be tired of pancakes, huh Sara?" Mr. Cosia asked his wife. "Or there's some other reason" Mrs. Cosia eyed her.
"OK! You got me! I was thinking since we move today, to California, can you buy me a new bathing suit?" Alexis gaved them the puppy dog eyes. "Well" Mrs and Mr. Cosia exchanged glances. "I suppose." Mrs. Cosia said. "Thankyou!!" Alexis gave them a hug again. "Spolied." Mike whispered to Bill. "Brat." Bill whispered back. They shared a laugh.
"Hello." A voice said. "What's this? A new brat is coming to Exided. People moving in could cause problems. I have already scouted the area, and since none of any are senshi, they will pose no threat. But this girlexact age to be called forth. I'd better dipose of her and her family immediately." "My Queen. I'm sorry to have overheard your smallchat, but according to my observations, another girl will be arriving two weeks from that time. I believe the name is unknown for right now. Age sixteen and is moving into Calit Ln. A part that will be on the rich side of Exided City." Another voice said. "Execallent observationsindeed. That is all Dreyal." "Anytime, Queen MarieKori." The figure bowed and disappeared. Queen MarieKori got up from her throne and walked over to a ball. It was, most likely, a crystal ball. "You majesty, all powerful, please, come forth." She said. "I thought I was to hear from you only when you had succeeded in capturing the City of Exided." A voice boomed. "About that lord. It has appeared that two new families are moving into Exided. It was very unexpected. To be precise, we found out about ten minutes ago." The Queen said. "You're slipping MarieKori. I cannot have that. Galaxia and the others were no match for the other sailor senshi, I don't expect to see you slipping." The voice boomed again. "Yes sir Korners! UhI will do my best!" she nodded frantically. "Well then, I'll be back." Korners's voice echoed and faded out. MarieKori stood up. "Dammit! Dammit it all to hell!"
On the plane, Alexis found it very uncomfortable to be reading her book. Her parent seven had asked her if she was feeling good. She shrugged them off. She was then finally alone. Her parents had to take Bil and Mike to the restrooms. She was finally able to write. "Dear Mel, If you are reading this letter, then I'm already in California. Some place called Exided. It's a big town, but even though a lot of people live there, they are divided! There's a middle town, downtown, and an uptown. Down town is an icky placed, made up of houses, even though they look like one-story apartments, and they're scattered across everywhere! They have their own store place, and it's the only good thing in downtown. Uptown is where the rich people live. It even has its own mall and their store is in the mall! MiddleTown is an average place, but the houses are all two-story. We're living in the biggest house off them all. That means hop the backfence, and you're in Uptown! Anyways, I'll write more later, maybe if you check the internet" she read her writing. "This sucks way too much!" Alexis complained. ********************************************************************
