The Alternate History Works of Mike Ralls
Alternate History just seems to apeal to me, and for the last seven years I have been on soc.history.what-if posting and commenting away.  But it is only recently that I began to write long alternate histories of my own. Here are some of them. Enjoy.
THE GERMAN-POLISH WAR OF 1938.
Germany  throws the dice a year early and attacks Poland before Britain and France made a treaty with her.  That war is localized, but events doen't stop with just Poland.
THE  NEW DELHI CONFERENCE.
Hitler dies in 1940 and his succesors make a peace with Britian.  15 years later the three supepowers of the world, the USSR, the USA, and the Third Riech meet in New Delhi to deal with some of the problems of a three way Cold War.
THE ISHIWARA OPTION.
Chang Kai Shek dies in the 1936 coup and as a result China is greatly weakened.  Because of this Japan does not invade the next year and ends up with a saner government.  During the 30's and 40's Ishiwara Kanji, a long term planner and probably the smartest of the Japanese militerists, rises to power.
US in WWI 1915
Due to continued unrestricted submarine warfare by Germany, the US enteres World War One in 1915, thus sparing Europe much destruction, but taking vastly higher casualties herself.
THE BRONZE AGE NEW WORLD UNIVERSE
This is a colaborate effort with Doug Muir and other netizens of SHWI. In it we postualate on what the Americas would be like if they had managed to reach a Bronze Age level of technology before the Europeans arrived.  Below are my contrbutions to this world.
First Contacts
This arc covers the first generation of European-Bronze Age New World interactions.
The Tlon-Spanish War
This arc covers the Spanish encounter with the Tlon, a much more advanced Meso-America civilization than in Our Timeline.  It is probably the best AH I have ever wrote, as well as being an interesting story by itself.
Suleyman The Fierce
The Bronze Age New World has a large effect on the old, especially when a strange disease sweeps acorss Europe and decimates the Ottoman Empire during the reign of Suleyman the Magnificent. . .
