Alright, I forgot what I have and what I haven't written about.

On the 5th, I made 3 batches of Swiss Christmas cookies and I must say I prefer American recipes.  That night, we went to the ice skating rink and we brought Thibau with.  I really want to go skating!  I guess I have to go on Sunday morning when it is open rink.   Who can I get to go with me??  When we got back we all decided to go to the bistro in VIllarsel.  We all ordered a pizza and they were huge!  It was really good.  Have you ever seen a pizza with an egg on top?  Ksenia and I played for awhile and then it was boire un verre with some other people.   P.A. and I walked home and Marielle and Ksenia drove home.  When I got to the house I looked at my cell phone and Vladimir wrote me a message asking if he could come pick me up.  I thought he had forgotten about taking me with him or he was trying to forget about.   So I asked Pierre Alain and he said I could go. I said yes and when are you coming.  I had 10 minutes to get ready!  He picked me up and we went to Posieu and met up with Fred and Chico.  After awhile there we went to Cactus in Farvagny.   We talked alot about  music and stuff.  Vlad said he would take me bowling sometime.  Later I talked to Pascal and met Meyer.  We talked about horses.  Then Vlad got a call from Xavier, his brother, saying he forgot his key to the house.   We had to leave but I really want to keep talking about horses!  I got home at 2h30.  That day started the Salon Du Cheval Arabian horse World Championships in Paris, France!

Saturday the 6th-Saint Nicolas Day!  The patron saint of Fribourg.  It's a grand fete here.  I came to the school at 4h00 and all of the band and some past members met there.  We received some Christmas music, these hood/cape things, and went outside and started playing!   We marched down the streets of Fribourg.  Magaly told me there were more people in the city that night than inhabitants.  Fribourg is known for having a big festival for St. Nicolas.  We tried marching in lines but the crowds were smooching us together. There were also kids with us who had torches and one was right next to me!   I felt it's heat!  I thought I was going to start on fire.  Behind the band was Saint Nicolas (really the kid who plays the saxophone next to me in band) riding his donkey with lots of boys from my class playing the flute.  We arrived at the Cathedrale St. Nicolas and he mounted to the balcony.   There he made an address to the city in French and in German.  Everyone found it funny but then Magaly told me it had lots of puns so that is why I didnt understand.  We went back to the school after that where people were smoking and drinking beer in the cafeteria.   That's something you don't see in America.  I was somewhat bored cause no one was talking, we all just sat there.  Finally I went over and talked to some guys from my class.  They asked me if I like the class and I said yes but I never really talk to them.   He told me yeah you need to talk more and I said I tried but you guys never talk either.  He apologized and said that the class needs to talk to me more.  He asked me what I think of the other american girl and I said she doesnt talk much and doesnt really do much.   He then told me the class hates her but they like me.  I was sooo happy.  My class likes me!!!!!!!!!  He then started talking about how we need to have parties just so I can come.  But Magaly was leaving and I was going with her so I left.   We went down back into the old part of town for fondue.  I wasn't hungry so I wa sjust sitting there.  I was tired cause I didnt get much sleep the night before and I was thinking about how I am going to Geneva the next day for the big Horse jumping event.   Finally, one girl left and she said she could drive me home.

Sunday the 7th.  Geneva!!!  Elise and I made it safely to Geneva and found the horse jumping.  I saw Rodrigo Pessoa!!!  We met up with Meyer but he blew us off like we didn't exist.  Elise and I started getting sick cause we were hot, cold, hot cold and had headaches.   We missed the train to Fribourg cause Elise was in the grocery store buying food.  We ran to the train and Elise was pressing on the button for the door to open and it started moving!  We started yelling at it in English to come back.  People just looked at us and laughed.   So what did we do to occupy our selves for an hour? Haha.  First of all the train cleaner guy walked by and he was whistling and Elise said, "Somebody's too happy." Then everytime he came by he would smile at us.  It just started getting kinda creepy but hysterically funny.   Then we decided we would do running exercices while waiting for the trian.  Then we ran up the down escalators.  Of course, the train dude kept looking at us!  Finally, we got on the train and he was looking at us through the window!  I need to develop my film so you can throughoughly see how funny this day in Geneva was.   We took the train...yeah, it was the wrong train!  It didn't stop in Romont and we had to go to Fribourg and come back!  That night we had Pamela come over and spend the night at Elise's house.  Yes, it was your typical girl slumber party. haha.

The next day Pamela left in the morning and Elise and I made Christmas cookies.  Since it was a Catholic holiday the canton of Fribourg didn't have school!  great, huh?  That night I had the band and I was soooo cold.  No one really even talked to me.

I really wanted to explain this weekend, but I have French class and then the school band.  I will try to come back online afterwards!  If not, I will write tomorrow.
