Chapter Officer Resources
Chapter Officer Conference Centerwww.forums.ptk.org/`chapoff
The Center provides officers with a choice of communication opportunities. Officers are encouraged to participate in any of the following ways:

- Message Posting Board:  T
his section of the Center gives officers the choice of participating at their convenience without overloading their email accounts. Officers may post questions or responses regarding Society-related issues. Many share information on their successful projects and give tips on topics such as fundraising and regional meeting planning.
- Electronic Mailing List:
This option allows officers to post and receive messages from their personal email accounts. Posted messages are forwarded to the registered email account and are available for review or response at the officers convenience.
- Chat Room: This center feature gives officers an opportunity to chat live with other officers around the Society. Officers log in and chat on topics relevant to chapter issues. Scheduled chats on timely issues featuring special guests are occasionally arranged.

Monthly Chapter Officer  e-Newsletter
The e-Newsletter keeps chapter officers up-to-date with the latest news and events information from Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters. Officers receive links to registration and reporting forms that assist them in meeting upcoming deadlines, and have an opportunity to report innovative projects or ideas for publication in future editions. Tips on leadership development and program implementation also provide officers with fresh ideals for achieving chapter goals.

Chapter Officer Academy
Held annually during the International Convention, The Academy offers premier training opportunities to newly elected officers serving in the upcoming academic year. Officers explore leadership skills and learn how to apply these critical skills to Phi Theta Kappa programs. Small-group activities allow participants to put into practice these leadership lessons while networking with officers from across the nation and abroad.

Golden Key Newsletterpublished four times per year, the Golden Key Newsletter is sent free of charge to all advisors, regional and chapter officers. Regional news and leadership development ideas, as well as information on the newest programs and scholarship initiatives, make the Golden Key Newsletter a valuable resource for all chapter officers. You can also view select selected articles from past issues of the Golden Key Newsletter at www.ptk.org/publications/goldenkey/.
