| Pi Kappa Chapter St. Louis CC August 6-7, 2004 North County Relay For Life |
| Regional Happenings: Pi Kappa Chapter of St. Louis Chapter: Theresa Schmidt President sent the following information: We will be doing Project Graduation again this year. We will also have our Awards Banquet May 16th, from 1-2:30 at India Palace West on Manchester and Hwy 141, anyone who wishes to attend please e-mail me at [email protected]. The cost is roughly around $13.00 per person for the buffet (menu p rices vary). We are also participating in National Verterans Wheelchair Games on Wednesday June 16 at 8 a.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. at North Oaks Lanes: anyone interested in volunteering with us please contact me at [email protected]. The more the better. They need 60 volunteers just for the bowling event. We will also be participating in Relay for Life August 6-7. Xi Zeta Chapter of Jefferson College: Lynn T. Hoff Adviosr sent the following information: The Xi Zeta chapter isin the process of holding elections. We will have our results on April 30, 2004. Our spring induction was held on March 21, 2004, with 80 new members joining. This is the largest membership to join at one time to date. Our fall induction we inducted 69 members. We held a phon-athon after the initial invitation letters were sent out. We are working on obtaining Pinacle for the third year in a row. Caio Behrndt our chapter PResident, due to his placement on All-Missouri USA, has been offered a full scholarship to TExas A&M to study International Buisness. Project Graduation is in full swing on campus. We held our Honors Banquet on Tuesday April 20, 2004, with 12 Phi Theta Kappa members out of 18 Summa eligibles making that top honors list!! We will be an active chapter this summer with many fun events being planned. Alpha Psi Tau Chapter of Ozarks Community College: Rhonda Perkins Missouri Regional Theta District Vice-President sent the following informatin: We will be electing new officers on April 29, 2004. Upsilon Xi Chapter of Maple Woods Community College: Jason Speights President sent the following information: We are having an Awards Banquet on April 25, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. It will be held at the Campus Center. Jose Vazquez also let me know that they will be joining UMKC for thier Relay For Life in 2005. Great job! Xi Lambda Chapter of St. Louis Meramac CC: Birka Kaptic VP of Scholarship sent the following information: We will did a health fair with the American Diabetes Association on April 16, 2004 at the St. Louis University Quadrangle Area from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. |
