GO G.R.E.E.N.:
Environmental Awareness
With a personal goal to extensively promote green issues, Kylie Johnson is inspirting others to "Go G.R.E.E.N.!" through her five point program which addresses: Global warming awareness, Recycling, Energy conservation, Environmental protection, Now is the time!

Kylie became a driving force behind the John Glenn High School's Earth Club revolution, serving as President of the organization during her junior and senior years.  She has met Jack Hannah twice, participated in a marine biology mission to the Bahamas, and completed an internship with both The Wilds in Cumberland, and also with the Autobahn Nature Institute in New Orleans.  Now as a conservation science major at Muskingum College, she has aspirations of one day serving as a national spokesperson for the
World Wildlife Fund.

Recently, Kylie became a member of the Sierra Club, which is America's oldest, largest and most influential grass roots environmental organization.  In addition, she is continuing her environmental advocacy in assocation with the Kroger Company in order to create consumer awareness.

Kylie has also been selected as one of 12 students from her college to participate in a trip to Iceland next May!  On the trip, top Conservation Science and English majors will be investigating the culture and heritage of this unique country.  She sees this as a great opportunity to explore environmental issues such as global warming while visiting the cleanest country in the world.  While in Iceland, Kylie plans to visit the top of a glacier, where she promises to take pictures to share with her Miss Ohio family and fans!
