MissJade (aka Ashleigh Jade) has been a keen musician all her life - at 6 years old and decided to play the Violin and continued to have a broad Classical training in music theory, Singing, Piano, Violin and Clarinet achiveing many Associated Board of Royal School of Music Grades as well as a GCSE and A-level in Music. Despite learning many instruiments, she has always maintained that her real talent and passion is Singing. Her voice is deep and Jazzy and she began singing Jazz music at the age of 12, going on to record two studio recorded Jazz Demos in 2000 and 2001.

Ashleigh found the alternative rock scene in her early teenage years in London and after moving to Brighton, she joined numerous different bands. She finally joined Spiderbaby- a B-movie inspired glam/rock/electro group in November 2007 as their female vocalist. In July 2008 Spiderbaby released their debut EP - The Death of Spiderbaby. As well as singing on the EP, Ashleigh also appeared on the front cover as Little Miss Muffet. The Death of Spiderbaby EP is available to buy on CD at Recordstore.com and download via iTunes, Napster and Amazon.com.

In 2008 she co-formed an experimental acoustic side project called The Clockwork Droids. Their aim is play covers as well as origional songs at open mic nights in Brighton and record selected tracks to be released on a demo in late-2008.
