Boy, did she change my mind. She is very protective of them. Although now she will let us do whatever we want with them. We can kiss, move, hold...etc and she is just fine with it. Congrats Matty!

| Matty wasn't very big for being pregnant. She looked like a 98 lb woman with a basketball in her belly. She was very small. Mike insisted that she wasn't going to deliver for a while yet. Well, as of 3:15 pm Saturday Feb 8, she delivered 9 babies. The first kitten was very large, I was quite surprised. The second...well, I would have to swear that two kittens were in the same placenta. Twins. One of the two didn't survive. She delivered 7 more very quickly. I made the mistake of moving her out of the way and reaching in to take the dead kitten away, she attacked my hand. I told her I was sorry and left it in there for her. I did some research on what to do if that happens. I let her have it for a while but after she started nursing the others, Mike assisted me in holding her and taking out the infant. I was very surprised, I didn't think that Matty would be a very good mother b/c of her attitude and personality after she got pregnant. She seemed to be very immature per say.
