Quotes
Every divine promise is built upon four pillars; God's
justice or holiness, which will not suffer Him to deceive;
His grace or goodness, which will not suffer Him to forget; His truth, which will not suffer Him to change;
and His power, which makes Him able to accomplish.
Salter
Well this day's been crazy
But everything's happened on schedule,
from the rain and the cold
To the drink that I spilled on my shirt.
'Cause You knew how You'd save me
before I fell dead in the garden,
And You knew this day
long before You made me out of dirt from Table for Two written by Derek Webb and performed by Caedmon's Call

This whole site is dedicated to my interests and passions, but I still felt the need for an "About Me" page.
I never really know what to say about myself so I shall start with my testimony.
I received Jesus Christ in to my heart and life in July 1996 at age 15. I
went to Christian schools from Kindergarden through fifth grade and
heard plenty about how I was a sinner and of God's saving grace but I never fully comprehended what that meant.
As I grew older I never gave much thought to God or salvation or anything of the sort.
When I was a freshman in high school a friend of mine invited me to church with her. I went with her
and found I enjoyed the company of the people there and after about two months of attending I joined the church and was baptized.
At the time I thought I was saved since I had the knowledge of salvation, but my heart was still as in need of the Savior as it had ever been.
Fast forward three months, I'm sitting in Sunday morning service in my usual spot. Everything seems the way it's been since January when I first stepped in the church
but about half way through the service I start thinking "Do I really know what the preacher is talking about?", "Am I really saved?"
After about 15 minutes of pondering and struggling the truth became painfully clear, while I knew of salvation
and of God's mercy I had never experienced it myself. As soon as church service was over I ran, literally, to find my Sunday school
teacher and talk with her. We spoke for a few minutes about salvation and she asked me if I wished to become a Christian. I answered yes and I knelt down at the altar and accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior.
I live in rural Alabama with my parents, 17 year old sister, our two dogs,
and our many cats. My favorite food is spaghetti, I love chocolate, and I drink way
too much Dr. Pepper. My favorite college team is Auburn University War
Eagle although the majority of my extended family roots for the University of
Alabama, which makes for interesting conversation during football season. *smile*
In my spare time I act as editress of Lively Hope
magazine which is a bi-monthly e-mail publication and web site for young Christian ladies.
I am also a member of the Young Ladies Christian Writers club
and a "Pecuilar Person"
