| Miranda Magpies Cricket Club is in its 43rd Year and provieds cricket for junior and senior cricket players. It is located in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. The clubhouse is situated at Seymour Shaw Park Miranda where two synthetic pitches form part of a sporting complex which includes the homeground of the Sutherland Sharks Soccer Club. Our 16A team this season welcomes new players Tim Gosper (Ex-Illawong) and William Rolfe (Ex-Sylvania Heights) both of whom are quality players and will strengthen the side enormously. Also joining the teamis another representitive player named Brett McHugh. Also called Macca or McHuge. Brett was a member from the 14C Premiers from the pies in season 2001/02 and is a player with immense talent Captaining the side again is junior legend Liam Rossenrode who is our keeper and a reliable opening batsmen, Graeme Girdler is our vice captain and opening bowler. Also on the site is a short explanation of our upcoming "Trip to New Zealand" and a "Draw and Result" Section, along with stats column showing the progress this year of each player.
