Brussels 2000

Brussels
presented us quiet for a change. Its decelerated pace (after London
everything moves very-very slow), was a nice transformation. At the heart of
Brussels is the Grand-Place square. There, one could spend days and still be
amused with gazing at the magnificent palace and surrounding Gothic buildings.
Of course, the must see attraction: peeing boy - Manneken Pis - who is supposed
to embody the "irreverent spirit" of the city.
I even went to a local rave. It was
OK, but Buffalo has better ones. Very surprising!
Anastasia
was my fearless leader through Belgium, and handled the task of a guide flawlessly.
First night we stayed at the youth hostel. That was cool. Then we moved to a
hotel.
