God Is Good All the Time & All the time, God is Good!! (Can a sista get an AMEN?)

Welcome back to Misty's Site about the Good Lord. I know it's been a minute since I updated this, but I'm back on it. God willing, I'll have more time on my hands to keep passing on His love and words for all of us. With all this being said, let's get this crackin'.

It is so easy to get caught up in our day to day activities that we forget what's important. This verse says quite a few things. First, it reminds us of what a mighty God we serve. God chose to give all authority to His Son. The task He asked of the disciples (and us, don’t think we're not included in here) was difficult. But look what he says at the end. He'll be there. If the Lord said it, we can count on it. Just pray and be strong in him.

Just another word to let us know that we've got someone on our side. Jesus offers reassurance for those who love him and follow him. The world can try, drugs can try, baby daddies (and mommas) can try, LAPD can try, but ultimately no one can snatch us up out of Jesus' protective custody. By the way, if you think that Jesus is somehow less than God, get at me and explain verse 30. He said it, I didn’t. Take it up with the Lord, I guarantee you you'll have the chance eventually.

This is pretty self explanatory. No one can say that they've never done anything wrong. And if you're like the rest of us, you probably do a lot of wrong stuff. And it's not okay to do wrong stuff, but God made us a loophole to get us out of hell. It's called grace. This is probably the best thing about being a Christian. It comes in handy for all us "not so perfect" people who aren't scared to admit it.

Just a few tips on living like you got some sense. The Apostle Paul put it down pretty well. Some folks, including myself tend to forget that we are supposed to be examples for those on the outside looking in. This may not be very inspirational, but I'm pretty sure 80% of us could use a little reminder on how to act, lol J . P.S. if you need some incentive to stop yourself from acting a fool, this verse comes before my favorite Romans 12:19. Check it out and see why its not necessary for Christians to cut up.

Well friends, This is all I have time to do right now. But since I know there are some of you who actually benefit from this, I promise to put more verses up periodically. Remember, God loves you when you think no one else does. All you have to do is try to behave in His way. When you screw up (like we all do) just ask for forgiveness. If you want to know more about Jesus, holla at me here. May God bless and keep all of you.

~Misty
