Pro Stock Bike Super Chick Angelle Seeling
This was the first time ever that I saw Pro Stock Bikes, and what a thrill! The high rpm screams of the Suzuki GSXRs were quite awesome, a contrast to the explosiveness of Pro cars. These riders must be crazy, going close to 300km/h (180+ mph) with helmet and leather as their only protection! There were some Harleys with that lower, distinct sound, but they were not quite competitive against the Suzukis.
Angelle at the Starting Line
Angelle Seeling, the Winston points leader (until getting eliminated on Sunday while Matt Hines advanced to become the eventual points winner) is the next female NHRA Superstar since Top Fuel multiple champion Shirley Muldowney. She didn't let her killer instinct get in the way of saying thank you to the fans by signing autographs and mingling with everyone at the pits.
