| AENEAS PEDIGREE |
| Prior to doing endurance riding, I took Aeneas to 13 local shows and we won and placed in 32 different classes. Including Open Stallion Under Saddle, at the 1975Luddenham Show he qualified for the Supeme Champion Hack and although did the best workout of the seven qualifiers the Judge refused to sash him saying no stallion is a hack. He won nearly every Working and Utility Stockhorse class, because if the judge said "show what he can do" besides the usual workouts done today with a whip, after completing the spins and stops, I'd then dismont, drop the reins and walk back to the judge, while Aeneas grazed the spot where his reins fell. Few rivals were game to try. At Goulburn Show he came 3rd in 1976 and 2nd in 1977 in the Dressage Test Open to all Competitors at the Show. In both instances he beat the Supreme Champion Hack of the Show. The only horse's and horse to score better belonged to Mr Timmons the RAS Horse Superintentant at the time. At 1975 Liverpool Show besides Winning Working Stockhorse, Utility Stockhorse and two Dressage Tests. Came 2nd in the Stockhorse Hack to Tavistock Miska. Then won the Open Working Stockhorse open to reg and unreg horses 1975 Luddenham Camdraft he scored 2nd highest cutout of the day against 7 King Ranch QH's and three wearing the famous HIL brand of Sinclair Hill. All up 115 horses entered. |
