Iranian music before Islamic revolution& after it:

After Islamic revolution of Iran in 1979, dance and some kind of music have been known as illegal by Islamic government and also female singers are not allowed to have any activities in Iran. Therefore, some of Iranian singers and musicians went to USA to continue their activities and they're mostly settled in Los Angeles. Hence Iranian singers and musicians has been classified in two different group, 1. The group living in Iran. 2. The group living in Los Angeles.
