| Okay, so by now, your probably wondering what the hell this is all about. well, hopefully you have some knowledge of Monkey Island (or at least played two games) if not, just click over on the link on the left saying About Monkey Island and you should after reading that have some knowledge of the games, but you wouldn enjoy this site as much unless you played at least two of the games. | |||||||||||||||
| So whats so special about this site I hear you ask (no really, I'm hearing you ask it right now, spooky eh?, kidding!). Well, this question had been running around us fans head's for a long time, we asked each other about it and had very in depth discussions about the matter (without too much reference to cheese, but that's another story). You see, I am a member of a Forum Site called Escapmi.com (to the left) which is a forums site full of people who love Monkey Island (and a few people who just came to invade and thought it was rather cosy) and a long time ago (a few months under a year ago) someone asked this question (not direct quote, but near enough) 'What if they made a movie of Monkey Island?' | |||||||||||||||
| We all laughed at the idea whilst at the same time, very interested, the possibilities were endless. It could have been a movie remake of the first game, it could be a movie of the non existent fifth game, to finish off the saga. It was fun to think about, but unlikely. then we started thinking. who would play the characters. Almost a year later, my brain caught up and decided to make this site. | |||||||||||||||
| The most fun part of this site, and the main idea behind it is the Casting Chair where we would dream of what Hollywood actors would play the different parts in this movie. Each character will have his or her own page with a small description of that character, which big stars should play that part and why, and finally, the most humorous quote from that character (because lets face it, this is possibly the funniest game around, if not the most twisted) | |||||||||||||||
