Their known 10 children were all baptised in St Just in Penwith, and I know of children to 4 of them.
The earliest record is CARVOSSA, believed to be a Roman military presence in the Fal valley at Grampound with Creed. In 1327 a subsidy was paid by Odo Carawynda. In the 1525 Subsidy, William CARWOSA was taxed on goods at 8 pounds at Probus.
In 1569 John KORVOSOW of Sennen was on the Muster Roll with a bow and 12 arrows and by 1641 at the Protestation Returns - Petter CARVOSOW, Hugh CARVOSO and William CARVOSO are named at St Just in Penwith.
There are miscellaneous entries in parish registers and the IGI prior to the entries from 1648 at St Just in Penwith. However, these do not have any continuous line and all CARVOSSOs still remain traced back to William and Phillis.
I have not personally been able to view the St Just in Penwith parish register, so rely on other researchers, although I have viewed the Paul parish register.
