Hobbies

Collecting

Sometimes I think too many hobbies, or too many interests. One might think it's strange for a 38 year old man to collect stuffed teddy bears, but I do! ((grin)) I also find myself acquiring more and more Irish-style and German contemporary cut crystal, antique brilliant cut glass, and old oil hurricane lamps. I also like to collect humorous old advertisements from magazines of the 40's 50's and 60's. I thought I was going to get into HO scale model trains again (a big love in my younger years) but now find myself shopping for "G" scale model trains for the garden and the Christmas tree as more adult (yeah right, that means more expensive!)

Travelling

I enjoy camping (well, more RV'ing really) and hiking in better weather, travel in general, and cooking and gardening when time permits around the house. I love theme parks and amusements parks, especially roller coasters, and a special fondness for Walt Disney World (much to the chagrin of the Southern Baptist Convention, I'm sure, ha ha ha). I also enjoy casinos, but you'll always find me happiest at the $2 blackjack and roulette tables and the 25¢ slots.

Pumping

I work out 4-5 days a week at the gym, both with machines and free weights, as well as running and cycling. I did take up roller blading two summers ago, but I was so wobbly I think maybe training wheels are required! A you can see, I've been collecting a few tattoos, too, with more to come in the near future.
