Follow-up Activities
There are numerous follow-up activities for you, the student, to.  The website: http://www.HistoryTelevision.ca/ contains a variety of games and lessons that you can use for further projects.
Also, make sure that you videotape or buy the series Canada: A people's history.  It is a great documentary, designed by the government of Canada, which tells of how we became a country. You can view more details at:
http://history.cbc.ca/history/
A great exercise you could do is stage a play showing how Canada became a country. Have classmates play the roles of the Fathers of Confederation or any other key figure. Design it so that it could become a comedy, showing the satirical side of history.
Reflections
It is important that you reflect on this project, so that you can become more familiar with your history.  The resources that you were provided for this project were picked so that you can become more familiar with your past.  When you collaborate all of your information into one documentation, you made history yourself. Your initiatives produced a democratic country, in a nutshell.
You are strongly encouraged to give your feedback to me on this project.  Feedback is the only was that improvement can be exercised. You can reach me anytime at
